Stevie Clark

Resident in Counseling

Stevie Clark is approved by the Virginia Board of Counseling as a Resident in Counseling working toward licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2019 and completed her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy in December 2024.

Before becoming a therapist, Stevie served for ten years in the United States Marine Corps. Her military service deeply informs her understanding of identity, resilience, and the complexities individuals and families face especially within high-stress or transitional life experiences. As a veteran, she brings both personal and professional insight to her work with service members, couples, and families navigating the unique challenges of military and civilian life.

Stevie is passionate about creating a therapeutic space that is collaborative, affirming, and grounded in mutual trust. She works with individuals, couples, and families and tailors her approach to meet the specific needs of each client. Her clinical work is informed by compassion, curiosity, and a commitment to fostering healing and growth. She draws from a range of modalities including Emotionally Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and strength-based approaches to help clients feel heard, empowered, and supported.

Originally from California, Stevie brings warmth, openness, and authenticity into her sessions. She values building strong, supportive relationships and believes therapy should be a space where people feel safe to explore, heal, and thrive.

When she’s not in session, you can find Stevie traveling, spending time with her family, or out adventuring with her beloved Standard Poodle name Cooper!
