Sabine Owen is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and she is licensed in the state of Virginia. She earned her Master’s in Nursing from Old Dominion University and her Bachelor’s in Nursing from Duke University. During her career, she has cared for diverse patient populations with a large variety of mental health conditions. She has worked with clients across the lifespan to promote ideal mental health outcomes. As a military spouse, she also has an understanding of service members’ and military families’ unique needs. Sabine’s duties at Got Your Six Counseling are primarily focused on providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management. She sees clients of all ages.

Sabine is passionate about providing patient-centered, holistic care. She believes that a combination of psychotherapy, promoting healthy lifestyle choices, and medications generate best results for persons on their mental health journey. However, she aims to pay special attention to each client’s personal history, experiences, values, and views in order to create a highly individualized treatment plan. Sabine is dedicated to finding the best medication for each person while executing caution of dosages and potential side effects. As a provider, she strives to form collaborative relationships with each individual as well as their entire healthcare team
