Julianne is a Resident in Counseling and received her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University.
Julianne believes the role of a counselor is to walk along side of each individual, offering support, to bring about healing of the whole person: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. She has a background in fitness and nutrition and desires to help people realize the strength within themselves to face challenges with hope and resilience. She believes that all individuals have the ability to change and heal when provided with an accurate awareness of self, supportive relationships, and healthy coping skills. She uses a variety of evidence based approaches to counseling, including but not limited to, EMDR, CBT, DBT, mind/body, and ACT; using a person centered approach. Julianne is a military child and spouse which has shaped her as an individual and a professional, providing an understanding of the intricacies of military life. She has experience working with children and adults who have experienced trauma, sexual assault, anxiety, eating disorders, depression, grief, and other life challenges.
